Schagrin Associates Welcomes Amanda Swenson to the Firm

Schagrin Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Amanda Swenson to our team.
Amanda joins the firm with a deep background in diverse areas of international commercial law, most recently serving as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of International and Aviation Economic Law at the U.S. Department of Transportation. In that role, she advised on legal and regulatory matters related to bilateral air transport agreements (ATAs), international aviation economic competition, and free trade agreements including the U.S.-Taiwan Initiative on 21st Century Trade.
Amanda previously worked as an Associate at a multinational law firm, where she advised corporate clients on a diverse array of regulatory and litigation matters. She also has maintained an active pro bono practice focusing primarily on humanitarian immigration work.
Amanda earned her J.D. and Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law. She holds a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University, and she has completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Jordan and Peace Corps service in Morocco.
