David J. Albright

David J. Albright is well-versed in the areas of international trade, quantitative and statistical analysis, and data management. With more than two decades of experience, he can effectively provide comprehensive analyses of company sales and cost data in support of international trade disputes, primarily those involving anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings.


 

Representative Experience

Supported domestic clients in trade remedy cases involving various steel, chemical and quartz products.

Comprehensive knowledge of the Department of Commerce’s calculation methodology and computer programs employed in antidumping proceedings.

Provide data analysis and reporting, trade flow and international price monitoring, and surrogate value research for non-market economy cases.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Schagrin Associates, David worked in the international trade practices of two major U.S. law firms from 1996 to 2022.

 

Previously employed as an economist for private consulting firms performing a variety of statistical analyses and report preparation for US government agencies, including theEEOC, Department of Transportation, and EPA.

 

Served as an economist for the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis.
