WASHINGTON, D.C. – On May 15, 2026, the International Trade Commission (“ITC”) reached a unanimous affirmative preliminary determination in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of oil country tubular goods (“OCTG”) from Austria, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates (“UAE”). The Commission found that there is reasonable indication that the U.S. industry has been materially injured by OCTG imports from these countries. In 2025, OCTG imports from the three countries were valued at $477,778,980.
As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determination, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue its investigations to determine whether imports of OCTG from Austria, Taiwan, and the UAE have been dumped and subsidized.
