Schagrin Associates Secures Affirmative Determination in 5-Year Review

WASHINGTON, DC - On October 10, 2024, the U.S. International Trade Commission (“ITC”) determined that the existing antidumping and countervailing duty orders on cast iron soil pipe (CISP) from China should remain in place to prevent the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the domestic industry. Schagrin Associates filed the original petitions in 2019 on behalf of the Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute (CISPI), and again represented them in this statutory 5-year review.

As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determination, the existing orders on imports of CISP from China will remain in place.
