Schagrin Associates is pleased to announce that Nicholas Phillips has joined the firm as an associate. Nicholas joins after three years as a litigation associate at a New York law firm representing clients in manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, consumer retail, and other sectors in state and federal courts throughout the country. He also advised clients on a variety of international trade law issues including Section 301 exemptions, supply chain due diligence, and tariff circumvention.
Nicholas has authored articles for national publications concerning trade law and policy. During law school, he interned at the United States Trade Representative in the Office of the General Counsel.
Mr. Phillips is licensed to practice law in New York. He is not admitted to D.C. Bar, and his practice is currently limited to proceedings before federal courts and agencies.
