The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) today voted unanimously that a U.S. domestic industry is injured by dumped imports of steel threaded rod from Thailand. Today's vote concludes the final phase of the antidumping (AD) investigation on steel threaded rod from Thailand.
The investigation was initiated in March 2019 upon a petition filed by Schagrin Associates on behalf of U.S. threaded rod producer Vulcan Threaded Products, Inc.
As a result of today's vote, the U.S. Department of Commerce will issue an antidumping duty order on steel threaded rod from Thailand with a duty rate of 20.83%.
