Rui Fan

Rui Fan is a trade consultant at Schagrin Associates, providing economic, financial, and data analysis for antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings in a wide array of industrial sectors. Her work includes calculating dumping and subsidy margins in SAS and Excel, researching industrial subsidies and foreign companies, and compiling questionnaire data and trade statistics.    

 

Ms. Fan has also written extensively on the Chinese economy and U.S.-China trade relations. Her work on China’s excess capacity has been cited in the annual report to Congress published by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. 

 

Prior to joining Schagrin Associates, Ms. Fan was a trade consultant at the Law Offices of Stewart and Stewart for five years. Before that, she was a Senior Trade Officer at the British Embassy in Beijing, where she advised British exporters and investors on regulatory and commercial matters in China’s energy industries. 

 

Ms. Fan was a World Bank Scholar from 2009 to 2011.
