Schagrin Associates Welcomes Merger With Stewart And Stewart

Washington, D.C. (August 14, 2019): The leading international trade law firm Schagrin Associates is pleased to announce its merger with Stewart and Stewart effective September 1, 2019. The firms will continue under the name Schagrin Associates. Stewart and Stewart was founded in 1958 by Eugene L. Stewart. His son, Terence P. Stewart (“Terry”), joined him in 1979 after Terry received an MBA from Harvard and a JD from Georgetown. Terry was the managing partner of Stewart and Stewart. Terry will be retiring as of September 1, 2019.


Schagrin Associates was founded in 1984 by Roger Schagrin. The firms have overlapping practices specializing in representing U.S. producers in antidumping, countervailing duty, and section 201, 232, and 301 proceedings, as well as customs and export licensing work. Both firms also conduct government affairs efforts on behalf of their clients.
